People are streaming more than ever before. But one thing remains consistent: When they’re looking for something personally relevant to them, they turn to YouTube.
We associate YouTube mainly with entertainment, so creating substantive content targeted at a business audience was a challenge for us. We wanted to show the advantages of YT over traditional TV in a natural and light way.
Main theme
That is why every speaker and guest of the event appeared in... an RV. We used the RV metaphor to show that YouTube gives creators and viewers absolute freedom in where, when and how they create and watch their content.
Case study of 2020 edition
YouTube Brandcast 2020 was the first online event to be produced in a virtual studio using virtual locations. We built 5 scenographic sets, combining locations created in Unreal Engine with real scenography recreated on location. In the same way that Mandalorian was filmed.

The event was crowned with a concert by Dawid Podsiadło, recorded against the backdrop of the changing cycles of day and night.
